The aged expression of Topanito is matured for three months in barrels made of Maerican white oak. The result is an amazing melange of flavours, enhancing the rough and wild young Tequila with the warmth smoothness of the wooden ambiance. Notes of earthy and roasted agave meet forest honey, vanilla and oak.

Topanito Mezcal Artesanal Blanco 40% Maguey Espadín

After a double distillation, Topanito Mezcal Artesanal 40% vol. is reduced to its sipping strength by adding spring water. Green peppers, lemon, thyme, eucalyptus and roasted agave dominate the bouquet, which is complemented by coriander seeds, pink grapefruit and pomelo. Grassy, fresh and soft impressions of green mango, hay and juniper prevail on the palate, before fading with flavours of juniper and coriander.

Topanito Mezcal 100% Salmiana

Topanito Mezcal Artesanal 100% Salmiana comes from San Luis Potosi and is made from 100% Salmiana agave from the highlands of central Mexico. The nose impresses with notes of star fruit, ripe honeydew melon, candied ginger, peach iced tea, black tea, honey and roasted aromas. On the palate, Topanito Mezcal Artesanal has an appealing, oily, almost syrupy texture and an exceptionally smooth mouthfeel. The taste combines surprisingly sweet impressions of iced tea, honey and peach with tart nuances of lemon peel, lemon balm, mate, eucalyptus and very subtle smoke.

This multi-faceted mezcal is best enjoyed neat.
