Warre’s Port – traditional manufacturing processes thought modern
Warre’s was the first British Port company established in Portugal. Since 1670, their elegant wines are distinguished for great mouth and softly perfumed nose.
Warre’s Otima 10 Year-Old Tawny balances the generosity of fresh, youthful fruit with the sophistication and elegance that a decade in seasoned wood brings to the wines. The Port displays amplitude, combining fruit-driven volume with the seductive mellowness and delicacy of wood ageing.
To be served slightly chilled. Superb with cheese, nuts or dried fruit after a meal or on its own.
Warrior is the oldest mark of Port in the world, having been shipped continuously since the 1750’s. The traditional style has been maintained over the years; it is today a classic full-bodied wine with wonderful richness and balance.
Dark red color, with a seductive rich perfume of ripe plums and cherries. Warrior is best served slightly chilled at the end of a meal, with chocolate, nuts or cheese.
Warre’s Otima 20 Year-Old Tawny reflects the complexity and finesse acquired from prolonged ageing in seasoned wood. The freshness of youth is still present, underpinned by the balance acidity which is a hallmark of all fine wine. The concentration resulting from gradual evaporation over two decades is perfectly balanced by a refined, aromatic range and voluptuous texture.
To be served lightly chilled, with light desserts such as crème brûlée, or on its own.
